Top 5 Food and Drink iOS Apps Performance in Oceania - Q1 2023

In the first quarter of 2023, the Food and Drink category on iOS in Oceania saw significant activity among the top five apps: Uber Eats: Food Delivery, KFC - Order On The Go, DoorDash - Food Delivery, Domino's, and MyMacca's. Here’s a look at their download and active user trends based on data from Sensor Tower.

Uber Eats: Food Delivery saw a consistent download pattern, starting at around 20K weekly downloads and maintaining a similar range throughout the quarter, peaking slightly at 20.5K in early January. Active users fluctuated but remained strong, starting at 844K and showing minor declines and recoveries, ending Q1 at approximately 836K.

KFC - Order On The Go experienced a notable spike in downloads during early February, reaching over 36K, before stabilizing around 13K-17K towards the end of the quarter. Active users mirrored this trend, peaking at around 198K in mid-February and then leveling off to approximately 154K by the end of March.

DoorDash - Food Delivery maintained a steady increase in downloads, starting at 16.6K and peaking at approximately 18.7K in mid-March. Active users showed a similar pattern, beginning at 342K and ending the quarter slightly lower at 326K, despite some fluctuations throughout the period.

Domino's observed its highest download numbers in mid-January with over 20K downloads, but saw a decline towards the end of the quarter, settling at around 9.8K by late March. Active users started at 54K and saw a slight decrease, ending the quarter at around 50K.

MyMacca's had relatively stable download numbers, fluctuating between 12K and 17K throughout Q1. Active users also showed stability, starting at 347K and ending Q1 at around 340K, with minor ups and downs throughout the period.
